As 2020 is coming to an end, we were happy to able to spread some holiday cheer in these uncertain times. We are once again very fortunate to be able to participate in this years Mobile Toy Drive. We hope that everyone that came out had as good of a time as we did. Things are looking up for 2021 and we can’t wait to be a part of it with you and your families!

This was our 3rd year participating in the African American Read-A-Loud at Ponce de Leon Middle School. We are so grateful for the support and invaluable services provided by our community members that came out to speak with our children.

This would not be possible without the continued support and commitment from Toni Junious who is responsible for the success of this wonderful event and the schools 5000 Role Models.

12 lucky students from our after-school program at the Gibson-Bethel Community Center were given the opportunity to attend and bowl in the University of Miami’s Annual Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Bowling Tournament at Splitsville Miami where they had the opportunity to meet some of their favorite UM Athletes!

We did it again! Over 500 kids and 100 bikes contributed to this wonderful event! Special thanks again to all the donors, sponsors, volunteers and performers for making this years Toy Drive the best yet!

What. An. Amazing. Day!

Our female student-athletes at Ponce de Leon Middle School had the opportunity to meet and observe the USA Women’s Basketball Team practice at the University of Miami. This opportunity was so special not only because of what great athletes these women are, but because they are such amazing role models for young ladies everywhere.

Thanks to generous donations from our community, we were able to provide a 3-day college tour for our high school student-athletes at Coral Gables Senior High School. Our student-athletes had the opportunity to visit the University of South Florida, Stetson University and the University of Jacksonville while also competing in various football skill-set competition.

Thank you to all the community partners that were able to contribute to this year’s holiday shopping spree at AllCanes. 12 lucky children from our programs at the Gibson-Bethel Community Center received $95 to shop, honoring the legacy of former Hurricane Bryan Pata.

We were honored to receive such generous support from Magic City Casino thanks to the continued commitment from their star Jai Alai player Tanard Davis.

This past season, every time a former Miami Hurricane won a match, Magic City Casino contributed to the Canes For A Cause Fund. These wonderful athletes chose The Home Team as their charity partner for the season and we couldn’t be more grateful! This was made possible thanks to a very dear friend to our program, former Miami Hurricane, Coconut Grove native and Jai Alai Champion Tanard Davis.

Project Ready was able to provide backpacks filled with school supplies, uniforms, food and games to every child at Frances S. Tucker Elementary School

8th Annual Frank Gore Toy Drive was a huge success providing gifts to over 600 kids in the Coconut Grove Community!
