Our passion is our students
our programs:
We continue to provide our after-school programs at Ponce de Leon Middle School and the Gibson-Bethel Community Center in addition to our Post-Secondary Planning Program for high school student-athletes and college undergraduate students. We are offering several new after-school programs for the 2023-2024 school year including a Reading Pals Literacy Program and an advanced STEM VEX Robotics Program. Our after-school programs have been provided since 2016 and have included Tutoring, Anti-bullying, Sports, Cultural Arts, Mentoring, Homework Help, Dance, STEM and more!
Our Impact
The Home Team creates an inclusive and affirming environment that assists in the development of the youth as future leaders in the greater Miami area. Through our mentoring programs, we aim to further the students’ success, but also strengthen their social skills on a personal and community level.
